Priyanka Chopra's papa indexes body of evidence in opposition to her occupant
Priyanka Chopra's papa indexes body of evidence in opposition to her occupant: Bollywood may be a star-studded place but the celebrities aren't far from trouble - the latest being Priyanka Chopra. The pretty damsel is in the limelight again but this time, it's not for her film.
It is heard that Rakesh Kapoor, a tenant in Priyanka's flat at Oberoi Sky Gardens house in Andheri, has not just refused to vacate it but has also resorted to forging certain documents pertinent to the renting and sale of the house.
As for details, it is learnt that Kapoor, who has been staying there for the last couple of years, had terminated the agreement on December 31. It was only after receiving a notice from the actor to vacate did Kapoor furnish documents that stated that Priyanka is bound to extend the agreement with him at any cost. The documents also stated that in case she intends to sell her flat in future, the first preference should be given to Kapoor and the offer could be extended to someone else only if he refuses to buy.
Following the incident, the actress's father Dr. Ashok Chopra, who holds the power of attorney on behalf of Priyanka, registered a complaint with the police.
The case has been filed under sections 465 (punishment for forgery), 467 (forgery of valuable security, will etc), 468 (forgery for purpose of cheating), 474 (intending to use forged documents as genuine) and 420 (cheating and dishonestly inducing delivery of property) of IPC.

Abhishek & Aishwarya Rai Bachchan India's most lovely couple
Abhishek & Aishwarya Rai Bachchan India's most lovely couple: Abhishek and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan were in the capital for the launch of the Stardust magazine spread, which exhibited them as "India's No.1 Power Couple". It was a magnificent night of music, fabulousness and allure. While Aishwarya looked shocking in a red anarkali suit, Abhishek stolethe indicate with his wit and humour.
Nari Hira, Chairman and MD of Magna Publishing Company launched the cover with Abhi-Ash. Ashwin Varde, editor of Stardust, credited Abhishek for conceptualising the cover. Bachchan junior said, "I made it happen, she (Aishwarya) made it watch able." Abhishek read his first Stardust when he was 18.
So how was the experience to shoot the cover? "We didn't know we were going to be the 'No.1 Power Couple'. Ashwin is very sweet. He has actually been running after me for a very long time to do a cover. But unfortunately, both of us have been very busy working, so we couldn't take out the time to come down and shoot it. He was very persistent and finally it happened. We had a lot of fun. We shot it with Jatin Kampani. We kept it generally easy; we didn't want it to be stiff and posed. We were always on time, we are a very punctual family," told Abhishek.
Abhi- AshAishwarya, too had a great time, "Ashwin has been interacting with Abhishek for a while. He has been generous and it was sweet on his part to accord such a sweet title to the picture on the cover. We had fun shooting it. Mickey was on make-up, I have known him since my 1st shoot and he's like family to us. There was a very warm atmosphere for us, not referring to the 1st day of fever that I had (laughs). It was a great time shooting for the cover."
Abhishek, who belongs to a big Bollywood family, comes across as a very humble person. So is it the real him? "Is that really me? It's very simple actually. You remain grounded when you go home to Mr. Amitabh Bachchan everyday. You have a wonderful day, fans take autographs, wonderful people take photographs, and you feel nice and inflated up in your head. Then you go home and Mr. Amitabh Bachchan opens the door and you are shown your place right there. I was always brought up in a very normal family. And thankfully, my wife is also like that," explained Abhi.
There have been a lot of expectations from Aishwarya. Is there a pressure that she has to carry forward as a wife, daughter-in-law and actor? "I think expectations prepare you. You try to give your best to whatever you take on. That's the schoolish attitude I have had since school. You just try and deliver. Do best to any commitment you have taken on, professionally or personally. The word underlining you is commitment and once you believe that, you try to give it your all. I'm extremely grateful to all of God's blessings and people's generosity," stated Ash.
Can we hope to see the Bachchans together onscreen? "I think we would love to do a film together but they don't think us worthy of casting us all together (jokes). Nobody has written such a script and we will be more than happy to do it. But having said that, we are individuals here. We don't do a film just because we have an opportunity to work together. Everybody has to be excited by their part and the script of the film. We hope to work together," informed Abhishek.
Abhishek, as star, is always in the limelight. Does he wish to have a normal life? "Being in the profession we are, this is are normal life, this is what we do normally (laughs). It depends personally and on what kind of life you want to lead. It's very important to have a normal atmosphere at home. Thankfully, it's not just the two of us. We both live with our parents. We have a very normal family life at home. And media attention is a part of our profession, we embrace it and enjoy it. It's as normal as you want it to be," told AB junior.
Will the Bachchans go to IIFA awards this year? "If we are free and not working, then yes. At the end of the day, actors prefer to do films than go to award functions. If we don't do films, we won't get nominated next year (laughs), so we have to concentrate on our work," exclaimed Abhi.
Aishwarya denied the SRK- Kajra re controversy, "Patani kaha se kahaniya shuru hoti hain and fir spread hoti hain, aise sawaal jab aate hain, toh uska jawaab bhi dena mushkil ho jata hai (I don't know from where these stories spread and it's difficult to answer such questions). At that very award function, I was already performing on stage. It's the Screen awards and the whole world has witnessed it and it will be telecasted shortly on television. So you all will know I already had another act that I was performing on.

Anil Kapoor and Preity Zinta launch IIFA 2011: IIFA will make enchanting, promised Bollywood stars Anil Kapoor and Preity Zinta as they published that the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) honors could be kept in this Canadian urban area in June.
"IIFA will create magic, IIFA will rock," said Anil Kapoor Wednesday announcing the 12th IIFA awards ceremony from June 23-25.
"IIFA stands for building bridges. It will bring a little slice of India to Toronto," beamed Preity who joined Anil in the introductory ceremony attended by Ontario premier Dalton McGuinty, his ministers and Indian envoy Preeti Saran.

Anil, overwhelmed by the hospitality and warmth of Toronto, said: "IIFA Toronto will be wonderfully staged. It will be the biggest landmark event and redefine the relationship between our two countries."
"Premier, let me assure you that we will create magic. IIFA will rock Toronto," he added. McGuinty, who presented Canada's trademark BlackBerry smart phones to Preity and Anil, said he cannot wait to see the mega-show start.
"Toronto will be Bollywood central (during the event). It will redefine our city as a tourist destination and provide networking opportunities. We will put our best foot forward (to hold the event). It will be an unforgettable experience," he said.
Introducing the event to Canadians, Indian consul general Preeti Saran said: "IIFA could not have chosen a better venue than Toronto that celebrates integration and multiculturalism as no one else in the world."
"It is momentous that this prestigious award should be held in Toronto this year when we celebrate the Year of India in Canada," she added.
Calling McGuinty India's "closest friend and supporter", she said it is he who "made IIFA Toronto 2011 possible".
More than 500 film stars and 40,000 visitors are expected to descend on Canada's biggest city during the event.
The three-day show will feature the world premiere of a select films, an awards gala, a fashion show and interactive events across the cities of Toronto, Brampton, Mississauga and Markham in the Greater Toronto Area.

Catwalk fashion
Catwalk fashion is unreasonable, in my opinion.
The catwalk fashion clothes look very uncomfortable, because the models, when they wal
k on the catwalk they fall many times because of their extravagant looks and their high heeled shoes. In the street, people don’t wear these dresses because sometimes, couture is very strange like an outfit of Lady Gaga.
I think that many dresses on the catwalk fashion are only designed for Lady Gaga
or others pop stars like her.
Others designer labels make good things, like a tuxedo or dress for the nights elegant but not extravagant.
Others designer labels make good things, like a tuxedo or dress for the nights elegant but not extravagant.
The problem of these clothes are the prizes, as they are so expensive, people can’t buy them unless they are very rich. Other problem, a cause of the price, are they aren’t well know, because in the street you don’t see these clothes.
Apart of all from this, for me the catwalk fashion are important, because show us the trends.

Christmas: Catalunya-England
Today I will talk about the differences between England and Catalunya.
Christmas in Catalunya is 5 days of celebration and in England only 2 days.
The first day of celebration is the 24th. This day, we meet at night and we have a special dinner. In my house, we eat chicken, beef, pork and fish, because every one of my aunts and my mother prepare a different dish and my cousin prepares fish because he is a vegetaria
n.
At the end of the dinner the children go to sing Christmas songs in a room and the adults take the presents and put them below the “tio”. The “tio” iss a branch of a tree and we take this and feed him for 10 days before the 24th. After, we go to bed because at night Father Christmas cames to our home!
The 25th in morning, the English and the Catalans have presents below the Christmas Tree. At lunchtime both have a special meal with turkey and sweet dessert.
But with one difference, in Catalunya the family meet on the 26th lunch time for eat the left overs from Christmas Day.
In England Christmas has fin
ished this day, but in Catalunya we have more parties. In catalunya the 26th is called Saint Stephens and in England it’s called “Boxing day”.
The 5th of January, the children go to see the three kings arrive and they go to bed early because in the night the kings will leave more presents at home. In England they do not celebrate The kings. Another happens different in England is the Nativity Scene. In England they have a little nativity scene, but here we have a big nativity scene with a poo man. The poo man doesn’t exist in England, ant the live nativity scene also does not happen in England.

Fame, the consequences
Today I will talk about the life of Miley Cyrus and the consequences of her fame around the world.
Her father, Billy-Ray Cyrus was a famous country and western singer, when he was young and his daughter Miley has grown with the fame of her father. When she was little, she started to sing and act in the T.V. After, she had a T.V programme called Hannah Montana, this series was about the life of a young girl. She had two lifes, because she was a pop star so, she dresses up when is the pop star Hannah Montana so people do not know that Miley Cyrus was really Hannah Montana.
When she had this series, she was an act for children, she was innocent. Now, she has changed completely, she is extrovert and does not sing or dance for children. Now she is a pop star like Selena Gomez.
Before she was a role model for young children. Now her influence would be bad for young children. Her actions and clothes are very adult.
Like all the young famous teenagers, now there are stories of her with alcohol, drugs…

Asin's Movies: 'Kaavalan' Movie Reviews
Asin's Movies: 'Kaavalan' Movie Reviews:Vijay, the one man entertainment troupe has bounced back with Kaavalan.
It’s super fun, perfect Pongal family entertainer and fits in with the spirit of the season. What makes the film tick is that Vijay with the help of director Siddique has done something different within the constraints of the formula.
The Tom & Jerry comic escapades of Vijay and Vadivel is a scream, song placements are perfect, romance is subtle but touching and the emotional climax twist is hard hitting. No Villain, no skin, no crass comedy, yet never a dull moment in the 2 hour 25 minutes movie.
Bhoominathan (Vijay) has been given that name by Semanoor Muthuramalingam (Raj Kiran), a wealthy and powerful feudal landlord. Bhoomi takes up an assignment to be the bodyguard of Muthuramalingam and saves him and his family consisting of his wife (Roja), daughter Meera (Asin), son Karthi (KK). He is given a new assignment by his boss to be Meera and her friend Madhu’s (Mitra Kurian) bodyguard at the college where they are studying.
Bhoomi is some kind of a joke at the campus, with his peculiar mannerisms, security guard’s dresses and dark glasses. Meera and her friends find his presence, often irritating. To poke fun at him, Meera starts making prank calls to him pretending to be a girl who is in love with him. After a while, things get serious, which leads to twist in the story.
One of the drawbacks of the film is the famous Asin-Vijay chemistry that has failed to work on screen. Asin looks too made-up, disinterested and sleep walks in a well written role. The film lacks a creditable storyline, but has been packaged keeping humour as its base, which makes it an engaging watch.
Vadivel who comes as Vijay’s side-kick and his comic antics with the hero are genuine gut busters. Raj Kiran, MS Bhaskar and Roja have hardly anything to do. Mithra Kurian in second lead is ok. Ekhambaram’s camera work is neat. Vidyasagar- Vijay combo works with some great melodies and fast beats like Pattamboochi and Step Step...
At the centre of all the mirth is the magical Vijay. The film works purely on his star charisma and larger-than-life image. His ace comic timing, dance movements and subtle performance in the climax makes his performance absolutely knockout. He carries the film on his shoulders and is one good reason to watch the film.

Asin is back to Tamil film industries
Asin is back to Tamil film industries: Asin returns to Tamil after a long gap with Kaavalan directed by Malayalam director Siddique. Vijay plays Asin's Kaavalan or bodyguard in this Pongal release.
Over to Asin. Do you feel any difference in the way a Tamil film of yours is releasing as compared to a Hindi film? Is the feeling the same?
It's like your film releasing in your own language and in another language! The feeling is not the same. That is because you are familiar with the Tamil audience and their tastes. As I am quite new to the Hindi film industry, having done just two films, I am not that familiar with the audience and their tastes. Here, I am familiar with the audience and the audience is familiar with me and that is a big difference.
So, are you excited about the release of Kaavalan?
Yes, I am excited. This is my first time working with Siddique sir and my third with Vijay. Kaavalan is not like Sivakasi or Pokri; it's a love story. This is the first time that Vijay and I are doing a proper love story. Its not a typical commercial film with fights, koothu pattu and comedy but a good love story. Sivakasi and Pokri were the typical masala festival films but this is different. So, I am waiting to see the reaction of the people.

Munnis and Sheelas of Bollywood ought to clear a path for the article kids!
Munnis and Sheelas of Bollywood ought to clear a path for the article kids: Looks like the Munnis and Sheelas of Bollywood need to make way for the item boys! Stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Salman Khan and Hrithik Roshan are showing a keen interest in song sequences that have so far been the preserve of women.
Farah Khan’s latest film ‘Tees Maar Khan’ saw Salman dancing away with Katrina Kaif and Akshay Kumar on ‘Wallah wallah’. He had earlier succumbed to the item song craze when he performed on ‘Bang bang’ from ‘Hello’ directed by Atul Agnihotri, who is married to his sister Alvira.
The film was an adaptation of Chetan Bhagat’s novel ‘One Night The Call Centre’.Abhay Deol will be seen doing an item number in Sudhir Mishra’s ‘Tera Kya Hoga Johnny’. ‘Male actors doing item numbers is a sign of changing cinema. This shows that they are also ready to try something new and create an image of their own. Moreover, it also depends upon the demand of the script,’ trade analyst Taran Adarsh told IANS.
In Bollywood, one can say, the trend of actors getting into item numbers was started by Shah Rukh with ‘Ishq Kamina’ for 2002 action-drama ‘Shakti’. He was joined by screen diva Aishwarya Rai and the two scorched the screen with the sizzling song.
He was later seen dancing on ‘Kaal dhamaal’ in Karan Johar’s production venture ‘Kaal’ and there the sultry Malaika Arora Khan joined him.King Khan was later seen in the song ‘Subah subah’ from ‘I See You’ in 2007 followed by ‘Mast kalandar’ in Sajid Khan’s ‘Heyy Babyy’. There are more – he also gave some sizzling performances on ‘Marjani, marjani’ and ‘Love mera hit hit’ with Kareena Kapoor and Deepika Padukone respectively in ‘Billu’.
Abhishek too shook a leg in a special song, ‘One love’, with Bipasha Basu in director Mahesh Manjrekar’s action thriller ‘Rakht’ and the song became quite a rage. He also featured in the item number in ‘Mission Istaanbul’, but his hottest number was for ‘Ram Gopal Varma Ki Aag’, a remake of the 1975 blockbuster ‘Sholay’. He was seen dancing to a tweaked version, ‘Mehbooba Mehbooba’.
‘Doing it is good fun,’ Abhishek posted on microblogging site Twitter when asked about the same. Hrithik did an item song for his sister Sunaina Roshan in her first production venture ‘Krazzy 4′. Though the film was not a hit, Hrithik wowed all and sundry with his immaculate dance moves on the title track. Another version of the same song had Shah Rukh shaking a leg on it. Even Tusshar Kapoor did the item song ‘Manzar’ for ‘Sunday’.
‘The purpose of them doing an item number is to add star power to the film. A lot of actors have turned producer and are making films under their banner; so a lot of them also agree to do a special appearance for the camaraderie they share with each other,’ said film critic Omar Qureshi.
Among older actors, Anil Kapoor and Govinda joined Salman in the song ‘Jalwa’ for his 2009 hit ‘Wanted’. Though the list of actress’ item songs is pretty long, actors seem to be queuing up to give them some tough competition.
Sonam Kapoor sexy modeling for Maxim
Sonam Kapoor sexy modeling for Maxim: The veteran actress and the heroine of the 1957 classic Pyaasa Waheeda Rehman feels that certain films should be kept from remake. If, however, the film is re-made, Sonam Kapoor or Vidya Balan would fit best for her character, she says.
Reacting to actor Aamir Khan's wish to remake Pyaasa, Rehman said, "It shouldn't be made. I don't have right to stop people.
If it's made, then my role should be done either by Sonam Kapoor or Vidya Balan."
Remade version of certain classics lose the original drama and thus its impact, said Rehman at Sa Re Ga Ma office where she was honoured with the release of an album Sitare Zameen Par, comprising her best 40 songs.
"Classics shouldn't be remade because if you make the remake of such films, comparisons are inevitable. The new version might be better, but the impact of the original version is difficult to replace from the mind of artistes and audience of our generations," she said.
"Some films look better in black and white only. The coloured version can't retain the same drama or impact of many black and white films made in our time. If Kaagaz Ke Phool is remade in colour, it would be a disaster. It goes same for films like Pyaasa, Sahib Bibi Aur Ghulam or Nutan's Sujata," she added. Most of the songs in the album are of her choice, said the 74-year-old actress. "Before compiling this album I was asked about my favourites, so I gave my list of choices, others they added of their own."
Asked if she still relishes the memories of shooting her favourite songs, she said, "Not all. But there are a few songs which take me back to those days when I had shot for the songs. Like Jane Kya Tune Kahi, Jaane Kya Maine Suni from the film Pyaasa is one of my favourite songs and with that I had got huge popularity."
"The lyrics, music and picturisation were fantastic. Even Waqt Ne Kiya was excellently picturised."Rehman being one of the finest dancers of her time doesn't find much varied choreography in today's films.
"Due respect to the artistes and the choreographer, because it's today's trend, there are more item numbers. In our time the songs were the part of the story. That's what I feel. I don't find much varied choreography in today's films," said Rehman.

Asin shoots notwithstanding sick wellbeing
Asin shoots notwithstanding sick wellbeing: It seems that South Indian beauty Asin would never compromise on her professionalism! Sources say that the actress, who as shooting deep in the jungles for Anees Bazmee’s Salman Khan starrer Ready, shot some difficult scenes despite being unwell.
"Asin’s health was down, but not wanting to hold things up, she shot some of the most crucial scenes. The fact that her shooting schedule was in a jungle was enough to keep her enthusiasm level high," a unit source revealed.
Once the shooting was completed, Asin hopped on a private jeep and went to watch the animals. "Asin loves wild animals. She had a ball watching lions, tigers and other wild animals from a close distance. It was a dream come true for her," the source added.

Katrina Kaif vs Priyanka Chopra
Katrina Kaif vs Priyanka Chopra: If you thought Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif hugged at Salman's Being Human event to start a new friendship, think again! The actors didn't even say a formal hello to each other at a recent event.
Piggy Chops and Kat came face to face at an awards function, but behaved as strangers. They didn't even say hi to each other, forget about a warm hug.
An eyewitness told Mumbai Mirror, “Priyanka and Katrina were next to each other for quite some time backstage. Their eyes met, but they did not give each other even a faint smile. They behaved like total strangers. There was ample opportunity for both the ladies to at least acknowledge each other’s presence but even that did not happen. Everyone around them noted this.”
To refresh surfers' memory, Priyanka and Katrina are at loggerheads since the latter replaced former in Dostana sequel, and Priyanka in turn replaced Katrina in Anurag Basu's Silence (now titled Barfi).
Even at IPL awards, the actors kept their distance. So we wonder, why they had to give jadu ki jhappi to each other at Salman's event? Keep guessing.

Veen Malik dance perform in 'Big Boss4' grand finale
Veen Malik dance perform in 'Big Boss4' grand finale: While the rumour is abuzz, Malik and her manager Sohail Rashid have neither confirmed nor ruled out the possibility of Malik performing in the finale.
“She has definitely been very popular during the show. She was nominated seven times to be evicted but the Indians voted for her six times which means she has a large fan following over there. Considering this fact, this it is quite possible that she’ll perform but I cannot confirm or rule it out [at the moment],” Rashid told The Express Tribune.
He further said that some negative rumours have been circulating about Malik but they were not true. “There is only one Indian website which is promoting false things to defame her. The activities of the contestants of “Bigg Boss” are recorded round the clock and the show’s duration is hardly an hour. So things are omitted and many things are being quoted out of context. She had been offering prayers in the house but nobody mentioned it. She discussed politics with her fellow contestants but few people ignored that and propagated her statements in a twisted way. The things that contestants did at the show were part of the game and the show must be taken as a game,” Rashid added.
Malik, who is currently in India, told The Express Tribune that false reports were being circulated about her, “I didn’t drop my towel before the camera. It’s just a rumour.” The actor said that the she was not intimate with any fellow contestant. She further said that she had been wearing shorts but the other contestants including Sara Khan and Anchal had done the same.
“She had been promoting the Urdu language at the house of ‘Bigg Boss’. A lot of people are using Urdu words in India just because of her. She promoted our language and did nothing wrong,” Malik’s manager said defending the actor.
Sameer Soni should apologise
Sameer Soni, another participant of “Bigg Boss”, who reportedly said he wanted to slap Malik when he and Dolly Bindra were talking about Malik after her eviction is being criticised for his comments. Someone has created a page titled ‘Sameer Soni Should Say Sorry to All Women of This World’ on Facebook and a lot of people are urging him to apologise for his comments.
Another interesting dialogue that is being forwarded through text messages and emails is a sentence spoken by Malik to Dolly Bindra: Aap Aurat Key Naam Par Ek Cartoon Ho (You are a cartoon in shape of women). Dolly on the other hand called her ‘vulgar’.

Filmmmaker Sudhir Mishra's blue-eyed boy made his unnoticed debut in Piyush Jha's Sikandar and Anil Kapoor's Aisha. Mishra swears by his talent. His tall, imposing screen presence and loads of offscreen attitude shows on screen. His real launch was Vinay Shukla's Mirch and the upcoming Sudhir Mishra's Yeh Saali Zindagi in January. Being politician Arjun Singh's grandson helps. The downer? Attitude works only when it's accompanied by talent. That's what separates Mallika Sherawat from Kareena Kapoor. Political dynastic credentials is okay, what about talent? Another politician Ram Vilas Paswan's son Chirag Paswan too is making his entry this year.

Has caught Salman Khan's fancy. The downer? Has said no to too many films in Hindi. Asin turned down Farhan Akhtar's Kartik Calling Kartik and Ashutosh Gowarikar's Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Se. Anushka Sharma: I am a considerable nomad
Anushka Sharma: I am a considerable nomad: In the event that Anushka had not been a character, she could have been a full time traveller.
Not the ordinary tourist who basically gallivants from one pretty spot to a different one.
She declares, "I don't enjoy sight viewing. For me, voyage is about meeting brand new individuals. It extends my skyline, specifically the treks that I tackle my own. "
She wishes to have more time and resources at her disposal. "I am quite a nomad.
If I could earn enough money, I would just travel for two-three years, from one place to another, without any plan," she says.
The travel bug got to her three years ago when she decided to pack her bags and go off to Galibore, a fishing camp located on the banks of the Cauvery river, for 10 days.
This was about the same time she had finished shooting for Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. "Doing routine things and meeting the same people, I felt fidgety. I wanted to move out and meet new people," she says.
In Galibore, Anushka lived in tents in the midst of the wilderness. She was intrigued by an old German man, quietly sitting by the river. "This guy had travelled around the world. He knew so much about different cultures. I learnt there is more to life than what you do for a living. He ignited the urge in me to travel more and often."
The spark ignited then has grown stronger. Four months ago, Anushka took a trip to Ananda in Rishikesh, a serene place nestled in the Himalayas. Here, her attitude to life changed completely. "I met people from different countries. I have a habit of bickering about petty things in my life. One day while chatting, somebody told me, 'You are so young and you are already an actor'. I realsied that I should be happy with what I have achieved so far," she says.
While Anushka won't pick a favourite destination, she likes going off the beaten track and experimenting with the local cuisine. One such place is the Tenga Valley in Arunachal Pradesh, a tribal area inaccessible by road. "My dad was in the army and was posted there for two years. The locals are very friendly and simple. Conventional food items are hard to procure and it was the first time that I had a snake and a wild boar," she reminisces.
Due to her father's posting, Anushka also got to travel to Nal, an air force base situated on the outskirts of Bikaner in Rajasthan. "There was nothing much to do here. Interestingly, there were many local dhabas and I often got to taste authentic Rajasthani food,"she says. Next, on her itenerary is Bali. The world is just waiting to be explored.

Tanushree Dutta: Shedding dress is a popular mandate
Tanushree Dutta: Shedding dress is a popular mandate: Bollywood stunner Tanushree Dutta feels that actresses are requested to shed restraints in front from the picture clicker basically to indulge the people mandate and not in light of the fact that the script requests it.
"In reality, when folks approach you with the line that shedding of hindrances is the mandate of an exact screen role, they are in reality pandering to the general population mandate.
Statements like mandate of the role or the element are everything junk," Tanushree told IANS in a discussion.Asked whether she is ready to shed clothes if the character required that, Dutta said:
"In Bollywood, people have been making movies for more than half a century and they are made in such a way that you need not shed off all your inhibitions. I would really draw the line. I am no more a newcomer in Bollywood."
Tanushree had won the Femina Miss India Universe title in 2004, and made her entry into Bollywood in 2005 with the hit film Aashiq Banaya Aapne. She starred in Chocolate: Deep Dark Secrets the same year, and came to be considered one of tinsel town's dark horses.
But she failed to live up to the initial expectations of her fans as most of her films except Dhol and Bhagam Bhag bombed at the box office.
Asked about the fate of most of her films, the former beauty queen said: "To what extent a film works is beyond me. My first film Aashiq Banaya Aapne did wonders at the box office. Then Chocolate was also quite popular, but it didn't have the same effect as the first one.
"I just look at my work and of course it's my responsibility to sign good films so as to make sure that people come to watch. But sometimes there are lots of things which are not in our hands. I always try to do the best I can. Some movies work, some movies don't," said the 26-year-old actor.
spending more than five years in Bollywood, and with an experience of working in nearly 12 Hindi and Telugu films, Tanushree now wants to do something different.
"At this point of time I really want to do a historical movie. May be it's going to take some time. I have covered various genres. I have done romantic, psycho-thriller, thriller, crime based, comedy, romantic comedy. Now I want to do a periodical. I also want to do a musical film," she said.
Tanushree nurtures a dream of working on a hardcore subject and literature-based Bengali film in the coming years, but says that she hasn't got an impressive offer yet.
"I have always wanted to work in a Bengali film. But till date I haven't got that kind of offer that would impress me.
"Bengali filmmakers have come up with subjects that are so touchy and hardcore. Literature- and sahitya-based movies are made here. I want to work in literature-based movies in Bengal as this is the specialty of the Bengali film industry," said Tanushree, who has completed a month-long acting workshop in the US.
Tanushree said she wants to sign movies, but she doesn't have the "psychology" of having back-to-back releases in a short span.
"I am planning to sign movies. Actually I don't have that psychology of having two back-to-back releases in three months. I don't know what I am going to sign next or when I am going to sign next. But one thing I can guarantee, that it's going to exciting," said Tanushree.
